Hi Everyone, the First Annual "ManHeat Minute" International DIY Action Film Festival is a social media film contest for us enthusiasts, amateurs and auteurs who don't have Big Studio development deals, but have an inner action hero who's just dying to be seen on screen. Who needs fancy cameras and rigs, when you already have what you need in our pockets?

This contest is open to filmmakers from all over the world who have amusing ideas for movies in the action/adventure genre that run about a minute long
These can be old home videos or new ones shot on any camera, from an old second-hand iPhone SE to a $100k Arri Alexa LF
Upon submitting the entry fee and sending us a link to your film, we'll post it on our social media (Instagram, Facebook and Youtube) as an official entry.
Films are scored 80% by the ManHeat contest jury and 20% on engagement (likes) by viewers of your featured post.
When the scores are tallied after the contest deadline, we'll announce the winners
Winners and finalists will receive a personalized Official "ManHeat Minute" International DIY Action Film Contest Certificate
